Morning: Trekking through Ethnic Villages
We’ll start the second day with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for an exciting day of trekking. Our first destination is Y Linh Ho Village, a 6-kilometer trek from Sapa. As we hike, you’ll be surrounded by some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Vietnam—rolling hills, terraced rice fields, and the serene beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Y Linh Ho is home to the Black Hmong people, and as we arrive, you’ll be welcomed by the sight of traditional houses and villagers going about their daily lives. Here, you’ll learn about the Hmong traditions and the deep connection they have with the land. It’s a place where time seems to slow down, allowing you to fully appreciate the simplicity and beauty of rural life.

Our trek continues with a 3-kilometer hike to Lao Chai Village, another Black Hmong settlement known for its spectacular views and rich cultural heritage. We’ll stop here for a picnic lunch with a local family, sharing a meal in the midst of this stunning landscape. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Ta Van Village, where the Giay minority lives.
