Sapa Adventure by Bus: 3 Days, 2 Nights with Bac Ha Market Experience

6:30 – 7:00 AM: Begin your journey with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi. Board a comfortable bus and depart for Sapa.

9:30 AM: Enjoy a comfort break as you follow the highway to Lao Cai City.

11:00 AM: Take another break in Lao Cai City before approaching Sapa.

1:00 PM: Arrive in Sapa Town, greeted by the colorful traditional costumes of the H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. After a welcome drink and itinerary briefing, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring local Vietnamese dishes. Check in to your hotel.

2:30 PM: Take a short drive to the gate of Cat Cat Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic people. Located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak, Cat Cat Village offers a glimpse into the daily life of the locals. Trek down to the valley bottom to visit the waterfall and the French-built Hydraulic Power Station. Capture stunning photos of the bridge and waterfall before trekking uphill to meet the bus that will take you back to Sapa.

4:30 PM: Return to Sapa Town. Enjoy dinner and explore the night activities. Overnight in a hotel.

7:00 – 7:45 AM: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare a light pack for the long trek.

8:00 AM: Drive to Y Linh Ho and begin your trek through the rice terraces and along the Muong Hoa Stream. Visit the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Continue trekking to Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay ethnic people. The trekking distance is about 9 km and lasts for approximately 4 hours.

11:30 AM: The bus picks you up at Ta Van Bridge and takes you back to Sapa.

12:00 PM – Evening: Enjoy lunch and free time in the afternoon to explore Sapa Town at your own pace. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel.

6:15 – 7:00 AM: Have breakfast at the hotel. Check out and bring your luggage for the trip to Bac Ha Market.

7:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Take a 2.5-hour drive to Bac Ha Town, home of the Flower H’Mong ethnic people. Visit the vibrant Bac Ha Market, the most typical weekly market in the region, where you’ll encounter various ethnic communities. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

2:00 PM: Take a short walk to Hoang A Tuong’s Palace, built in 1914 with French-Vietnamese architecture. Visit “Pho” Village of the Flower H’Mong people. The trekking distance is about 4 km and lasts for about 2 hours.

4:00 PM: Drive back to Lao Cai City, where you can shower and relax. (Note: You will not return to Sapa Town).

4:30 PM: Board the shuttle bus back to Hanoi with one comfort break.

9:15 PM: Arrive in Hanoi, where we will say goodbye at your hotel. The trip ends.
