Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, fueling you for an exciting exploration of Hanoi’s rich history and culture. At 8:00 AM, meet our expert guide in the hotel lobby to begin your tour of the city’s top attractions.

Our first stop is the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s oldest university, founded during the Ly Dynasty. This historical site not only symbolizes Confucian values but also celebrates Vietnam’s scholarly traditions.

Next, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural gem designed to resemble a lotus flower, symbolizing purity and enlightenment.

We’ll then head to Ba Dinh Square to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you’ll learn about the profound moments of Vietnam’s history, including President Ho Chi Minh’s Declaration of Independence. (Note: The Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays and undergoes renovations from June to August, but you can still enjoy the surrounding area.)

After a lunch break at a local restaurant, continue to the Museum of Ethnology, which offers a fascinating glimpse into the diverse cultures of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups through exhibits and interactive displays.

In the evening, if you’re up for more adventure, consider our optional Hanoi Cyclo and Water Puppet Show with Dinner for a memorable night out.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out and setting off at 8:00 AM for Quang Phu Cau Incense Village. This tranquil village, a 1.5-hour drive from Hanoi, offers a unique glimpse into traditional incense-making. Watch as locals craft incense sticks, from bamboo preparation to dyeing and drying under the sun. Don’t miss the chance to snap some colorful photos with bundles of incense!

Savor a rustic lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Ninh Binh. Here, visit Bich Dong Pagoda, nestled in the hills with stunning views. If you’re visiting during the lotus season (June-July), you’ll witness a truly enchanting landscape.

In the afternoon, embark on a sampan boat ride through the picturesque Tam Coc area. As you float along the Ngo Dong River, admire the lush rice fields and impressive limestone caves. This serene journey through the heart of Vietnam’s countryside is perfect for nature lovers and photographers alike.

After lunch, we’ll continue to Trang An Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, enjoy a peaceful boat ride along the Sao Khe River, passing through several impressive caves and ancient temples. The combination of natural beauty and historical significance makes Trang An a highlight of the trip.

Return to your hotel for a restful evening, preparing for the next leg of your adventure.

After breakfast, check out and embark on a luxurious bus ride to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, board your cruise ship and enjoy a welcome drink as you settle in.

Around 12:15 PM, set sail on Halong Bay’s emerald waters. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch while cruising past towering limestone formations and idyllic islets. The afternoon is free for water activities such as kayaking, exploring caves, or hiking to scenic viewpoints.

As evening falls, join a cooking class or relax with cocktails during our Happy Hour. The night is yours to enjoy with activities like squid fishing, movie screenings, or board games.

Early risers can join a Tai Chi class on the deck, followed by a light breakfast. Continue your exploration with a visit to a fishing village or a relaxing swim.

Return to the cruise for a final brunch before checking out by 10:30 AM. Transfer back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel around 2:45 PM. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.
