Upon arriving at the cruise port, you’ll meet the captain and crew, who will brief you on safety instructions while you refresh with a welcome drink. By 12:00, it's time to board your luxurious cruise, where a delicious seafood lunch awaits. As you savor each bite, the boat glides smoothly over the bay, revealing the stunning views of Halong's unique islets—each one with a story of its own.

Wake up to the gentle lapping of the bay's waters and start your day with a refreshing Tai Chi session on the deck. Take in the awe-inspiring views of dramatic limestone formations as you sail. At 10:00, it's time to check out of your cabin, but the adventure isn’t over yet. A delightful brunch will be served on the 90-minute journey back to the harbor. As you dock, the boat crew will bid you a warm farewell.

Afternoon

Today, the journey continues as we venture into the heart of Northern Vietnam. Around 07:30 - 08:00, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi, and together, you'll head towards Mai Chau, a breathtaking valley nestled among the mountains. The 4-hour drive offers plenty of time to relax and take in the scenic views, with a short break along the way.

By noon, you’ll arrive in Mai Chau, where you’ll check in to your room and enjoy a leisurely lunch—fueling up for the exciting afternoon ahead.

Afternoon

The best way to explore Mai Chau’s charm is on two wheels. Around 13:00-14:00, join a local guide for a gentle bicycle tour through picturesque ethnic villages like Na Thia, Chieng Sai, Cha Long, Tong Dau, and Ta Van. As you pedal through these tranquil communities, you'll witness local life up close, from farmers tending their fields to children playing along the paths.

After cycling, return to the ecolodge for a delicious dinner. As you dine, you'll be treated to a traditional dance performance and the opportunity to taste Ruou Can, a famous local rice liquor. It’s a cultural experience that will deepen your connection to this beautiful region.

After the walk, return to the homestay for a well-deserved lunch. You’ll have some free time to relax, shop for souvenirs, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere before checking out. In the afternoon, board the van/bus for the return journey to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel around 18:30 - 19:15.
