Your adventure begins as we arrive in Lao Cai at around 05:00 AM. The early morning mist clings to the mountains, adding a touch of magic as our 60-minute minivan ride takes us up winding roads to the charming Sapa Town. Nestled in the mountains, Sapa is a town where the old-world charm meets the raw beauty of nature.

After settling in, we’ll make our way to the hill tribal market. This is not just a market; it's a vibrant tapestry of cultures, where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, and other ethnic groups gather to trade their goods. The sight of women in their colorful traditional garments, the hum of local dialects, and the aroma of fresh produce create an unforgettable sensory experience. It’s a wonderful opportunity to observe the daily lives of the hill tribes and perhaps pick up a handcrafted souvenir.

Afternoon: Immersing in Sapa’s Culture and Nature
After lunch, we dive deeper into the cultural heart of Sapa with a visit to Cat Cat Village. This hill tribe settlement is a living museum of local traditions. As we walk along the stone-paved paths, you’ll see Hmong women weaving on ancient looms, hear the laughter of children playing, and feel the connection between the people and their land. Our next stop is the breathtaking Silver Waterfall. With a drop of nearly 200 meters, this is one of the tallest and most powerful waterfalls in Vietnam. Today, Hagiang Trekking Tour takes you on a memorable hike to Ta Phin Village, home of the Red Dao people. As we arrive, you’ll be greeted with warm smiles and open arms, a true reflection of their hospitality. We’ll spend the morning learning about their customs, from herbal bath remedies to traditional wedding rituals. You might even have the chance to participate in a cultural exchange, deepening your understanding of their way of life.
Afternoon: Trekking Through the Heart of Sapa
After a hearty lunch, we’ll set off on a trek through the stunning Sapa Valley. Our path leads us to Lao Chai Village, where the Black Hmong reside. As we walk through terraced rice fields, you’ll see how the land has shaped their lives and livelihoods. The Hmong are masters of agriculture, and their fields are a marvel of human ingenuity and harmony with nature.

Continuing our journey, we’ll arrive at Ta Van Village, home to the Giay minority. This village is a serene haven, where the pace of life slows down, allowing you to fully appreciate the surrounding beauty. The Giay people are known for their friendliness, and you’ll have the chance to learn about their traditions while enjoying the tranquil ambiance of the village.
